Define what an enquiry is
One written definition, agreed by sales and marketing: which actions count, which do not, and what a qualified enquiry looks like. Everything downstream depends on this being settled first.
Most businesses have analytics installed and still cannot answer the only question that matters: what caused that customer to get in touch. We set up measurement that survives scrutiny, so budget decisions stop being arguments about whose report is right.
THE SITUATION
The advertising platform claims forty enquiries. The analytics account says nine. Sales remembers three. Nobody is lying — each is counting a different thing, over a different window, with different rules about who gets the credit. So the monthly meeting becomes a debate about the numbers rather than a decision about the business.
Underneath that is a harder problem. Phone calls and WhatsApp messages usually go uncounted, so the channels that generate them look dead. Whatever is invisible gets defunded, and it is rarely the thing that deserved cutting.
SYMPTOMS WE HEAR MOST
Ad platform and analytics numbers have never once agreed Phone and WhatsApp enquiries appear nowhere in any report Nobody can say which page or campaign produced last month's best client Reporting takes two days to assemble and still gets questionedHOW THE WORK RUNS
Tracking added without a definition of success just produces more numbers to argue about. The order here is deliberate.

GA4 and server-side events for forms, plus the ones normally missed — click-to-call, WhatsApp taps, chat starts, downloads, booking completions. Consent handled correctly under Singapore's PDPA.
Enquiries connected to your CRM so a lead source follows the deal through to won or lost. Cost per enquiry is interesting; cost per closed customer changes decisions.
A single dashboard with agreed definitions, reviewed monthly, that answers what to spend more on and what to stop. No two versions of the truth.
WHO GETS THE CREDIT
A real shape of journey from a B2B enquiry over twenty-three days. Choose the touchpoint you would credit, then see how each attribution model answers — and what that does to your budget.

Installed is not the same as configured. A default GA4 property records page views and little else — no enquiry definition, no call or chat tracking, no connection to whether the lead closed. The tag being present is the easy part.
They are measuring different things by design. The ad platform credits itself for conversions within its own attribution window, including view-throughs; analytics generally credits the last non-direct source. Both can be correct and still disagree. The fix is agreeing which one you make decisions on.
Yes, and this is usually the largest blind spot. Click-to-call taps and WhatsApp opens can be tracked as events; call tracking numbers go further and attribute the call itself to a source. Without this, every channel that drives calls looks like it does nothing.
Yes, done properly. We configure consent mode so measurement respects a visitor's choice, avoid collecting personal data you have no basis to hold, and document what is collected and why. Compliance and useful measurement are not in conflict.
Pick one, write down why, and judge every channel by it consistently. The model matters less than the consistency — switching models between meetings is how a channel gets defunded for reasons that have nothing to do with its performance.
No. Everything is built in your own accounts and containers, with documentation and handover notes. If your team wants to run it themselves, they can.
Give us access and we will report back on what is being counted, what is being missed, and which decisions you have been making on incomplete numbers.
